In partnership with Lo&Co
Good taste is rarely confined to one category. For Arielle Lopresti and Teegan Cocchiaro, founders of Australian design brand Lo&Co, it’s a sensibility that moves instinctively between interiors, fashion, art and the everyday objects we choose to live with. Together, they have built Lo&Co around a distinct visual language – one grounded in considered detail, tactile materiality and an appreciation for pieces that are as beautiful as they are functional.
Naturally, that discerning eye extends well beyond their own designs. Their personal worlds are shaped by the objects, makers and brands they return to: a sculptural candle holder, beautiful glassware, a signature scent, a suitcase designed to acquire the marks of a life well travelled.
Here, we get to know Arielle and Teegan through the things they love – the pieces they collect, use and live with, and the considered rituals that reveal something of the taste behind Lo&Co.
1. SOPHIE BUHAI (candles)
We love objects that blur the line between function and sculpture, and the Sophie Buhai Four Eyes Votive candle holder is one of those pieces. Even when it's not lit, it feels like a collectible object that adds character to a space.
2. LE LABO and MAISON FRANCIS KURKDJIAN (scent)
A signature scent becomes part of your identity. Le Labo Santal 33 (Arielle) and Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540 (Teegan) are both timeless fragrances that have become part of our daily rituals and evoke a sense of familiarity wherever we are.
3. MERCI MAISON (pillow/linens)
Beautiful textiles instantly soften a room. We love the relaxed European feel of Merci Maison’s Sylvie Cushion, and we are absolutely loving anything with tassels at the moment.
4. JUSTINE MENARD (coffee/wine glass)
We love entertaining, and beautiful glassware makes even the simplest ritual feel elevated. The Orphée Liqueur Glass by Justine Menard is sculptural, refined and something guests always comment on.
5. RIMOWA (luggage)
Designed to last a lifetime. We appreciate products that become better with age, and the Rimowa Classic Trunk is one of those rare pieces where functionality and design are equally considered.
6. POLÈNE (stationery)
In an increasingly digital world, there's still something special about writing ideas down by hand. We carry notebooks everywhere, and beautiful stationery like the Polène Notebook Cover makes the process feel more intentional.
7. SOPHIE BUHAI and ZOE MOHM (grooming)
Sophie Buhai’s Nautilus Comb and Zoe Mohm’s Comb Study are everyday objects transformed into art. We love pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, even in the smallest daily rituals.
8. HENRII L'EAU and HANNAH KUHLMANN (lighting)
We're drawn to pieces that feel sculptural first and functional second – and the Henrii Leau No. 9 Pendant and Hannah Kuhlmann Shell Sconce both create atmosphere as much as illumination.
9. VITO (vase)
We collect vessels because they stand beautifully on their own or with flowers. The Vito Bila Vessel feels handcrafted and timeless, which is exactly what we're drawn to.
10. ASPINAL OF LONDON (journal)
A well-made journal – like from Aspinal of London – is something you'll keep for years. It's a place to capture ideas, travel notes and sketches, and we love objects that age beautifully alongside you.
11. LE CREUSET (cooking)
Le Creuset’s Garnet Cast Iron Casserole is one of those forever pieces that gets better with use. We love products that are equally beautiful sitting on the stovetop as they are serving at the table.
12. OURA (technology)
We're both fascinated by optimising wellbeing while juggling busy businesses and family life. The Oura Ring 5 feels discreet and gives us insights that help us perform at our best.
