We might be entering our Lily Allen renaissance era. After dropping West End Girl, her first album in seven years, the British singer-songwriter has reminded everyone why she’s (still) one of our favourite pop artists, and one of the most refreshingly candid voices in music at the moment. Across 14 tracks, Allen navigates heartbreak, and the tumultuous breakdown of her marriage, with that sharp, self-aware wit that first made her famous back in the Smile days.
And now, she’s taking West End Girl on the road, announcing a UK tour kicking off in March 2026. Naturally, Australian fans had one question: when’s our turn? So, will Allen treat us to her witty lyrics IRL? Here's what we know so far about a potential Australian tour.
So, is an Australian tour on the cards?
While Allen hasn’t confirmed any international dates just yet, there’s certainly reason to be hopeful. The singer’s Instagram announcement was quickly flooded with comments from fans across the globe — in particular, Australians begging her to come here. It wouldn’t be the first time Allen has brought her music Down Under either; her last Australian tour in 2019 saw packed-out shows and glowing reviews.
When would a possible Australian tour be?
Given that her UK run takes place in March, a mid to late-2026 international leg seems possible. It’s worth noting the trend amongst artists to launch intimate tours in their home countries, which then expand globally once the initial shows sell out (and judging by the hype, West End Girl tickets won’t last long). Here's hoping Allen sticks to this tradition.
So, while there’s no official word from Allen or her team just yet, we’ll be keeping a close eye on her socials — and Ticketek’s waitlists. For now, all we can do is manifest, and listen to West End Girl on repeat.
