Yes, you read that correctly. After months of rumours and wishing, Grammy-winning, Chinese-Icelandic musician Laufey has officially confirmed her return to Australia after two long years.

When and where is Laufey playing in Australia?
She's making her way around most of the country in the middle of 2026. The exact dates and locations are as follows:
- Saturday 25 July - RAC Arena, Perth WA
- Tuesday 28 July - Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Adelaide SA
- Thursday 30 July - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne VIC
- Monday 3 August - Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane QLD
- Friday 7 August - Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney NSW
- Wednesday 12 August - Spark Arena, Auckland NZ
How to get tickets
Tickets go on sale pretty soon, with the general sa,e beginning at 2pm local time on Friday 13 March.

There's also a presale taking place with Frontier Touring beginning at 1pm local time on Wednesday 11 March.
Fans have been speculating about an Australian tour for some time
A selection of Laufey's fans were surprised by an automated text back in August, which read: "Australia! Pre-order A Matter of Time by August 28 to receive upcoming unannounced AUS tour pre-sale access + chance to Zoom w/ Laufey." It was followed up with a link which, when you click through, leads to a page to pre-order the singer's new album, and reiterates that the purchase will be accompanied by access to an "upcoming unannounced Laufey Australian tour pre-sale code."
