Well this month, eBay is making that dream a reality. The model and entrepreneur is parting with a selection of pieces from her personal archive as part of eBay Live's 24 Hours of Drops event. Among the pieces heading to auction are a custom Viktor Gichev dress (the one she wore to the 2025 Avatar premiere, iykyk) a Phoebe Philo-era Celine skirt and a Chanel tweed jacket.

If mention of the designers is enough to whet your appetite, then this next bit will really get you salivating: some of the pieces will be selling for as little as one cent. Yes, really.

Worthington's edit is exactly what you'd hope to find hanging inside the wardrobe of one of the coolest style icons. Alongside pieces from her personal archive, you'll also be able to bid on a selection of coveted designer finds, including a Burberry cropped trench, Miu Miu boots and a Coach Tabby bag.

Perhaps the piece we're watching most closely, however, is the Sofia Coppola for Louis Vuitton handbag. Released as part of the filmmaker's collaboration with the French fashion house, it's long been considered a collector's item among fashion devotees — and this one is set to start at just one cent.

Proceeds from Worthington's auction will be donated to Bowel Cancer Australia through eBay's charity partner Goodlot, meaning your next designer purchase might also support a good cause.

eBay Live's 24 Hours of Drops event kicks off at 8am AEST on Friday, June 26 and runs for 24 hours. Worthington's livestream auction begins at 2pm AEST. You'll be able to access it through the eBay app.

How much will Lara Worthington's pieces cost?

A number of items across eBay Live's 24 Hours of Drops event will be released as "Penny Drops", meaning bidding starts from just one cent. Of course, whether they stay at one cent is another story – we're expecting some healthy competition.
