There are plenty of things to get excited about with summer on the horizon, but few things get our hearts racing quite like knowing Laneway Festival is locked in for another year.
The iconic festival has announced he dates for its 2027 tour, and for the first time ever, things will kick off in Sydney. From there, it will head north to Brisbane, return to Melbourne, where the festival began, and finish up in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.

When is Laneway Festival 2027?
The Laneway Festival 2027 dates will take place across four cities in February, with the tour beginning in Sydney on Friday 12 February and wrapping in Auckland on Sunday 21 February.
The full schedule is as follows:
- Sydney – Friday 12 February 2027, Centennial Park
- Brisbane – Saturday 13 February 2027, Brisbane Showgrounds
- Melbourne – Friday 19 February 2027, Flemington Park
- Auckland – Sunday 21 February 2027, Western Springs
ICYMI, it was previously announced that Laneway will be skipping Adelaide, Gold Coast and Perth in 2027, in order to "focus on making the festival the best it can be, while freeing up time for more artists to bring headline shows to cities beyond our festival stops."
Are there age restrictions for Laneway Festival 2027?
Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne are all 16+, while the Auckland event is 18+
Who is on the lineup?
Sadly, there's still some time to go before the official lineup drops – in late September to be exact. The festival is known for curating a mix of emerging and established names, and we have a feeling next year will be no excpetion.

There's no news on ticket sales yet. We're guessing these will drop shortly after the lineup is released in late September. Watch this space.
