Missed out on tickets to Laneway Festival in 2026? You might just be in luck.
The hotly-anticipated event sold out almost instantly when tickets were first released back in September 2025. But that's hardly surprising, when you consider that the likes of Role Model, Chappell Roan, PinkPantheress, Alex G, Wolf Alice, Yung Lean & Bladee, Geese, and many more are on this year's lineup.
Now, however, you'll have a second shot at scoring tickets to either Sydney or Melbourne. Here's what you need to know about the limited release, and exactly when you'll need to be by your computer to have a chance.
When will the additional tickets go on sale?
Additional tickets will be released on Wednesday 14 January from 9am local time.
It's not clear how many tickets will go on sale, but Lanway have warned us that it's a (very) "limited number".
Which cities will the additional tickets be for?
As mentioned, the additional tickets are only for the Sydney and Melbourne iterations of Laneway. That's partly because tickets for Auckland, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth are still on sale.
How can I get tickets?
There will be both a general sale and a waitlist sale. Fans registered to Laneway Festival’s official waitlist will receive first access ahead of the public on sale.

Sydney
- Waitlist on sale: Wednesday 14 Jan, 9am–10am (local)
- General on sale: Wednesday 14 Jan, 10am (local)
Melbourne
- Waitlist on sale: Wednesday 14 Jan, 11am–12pm (local)
- General on sale: Wednesday 14 Jan, 12pm (local)
