There's already been a tonne of speculation online – Mac Demarco? The Favours? Role Model? – but the rumours are now confirmed. Here's what you need to know.

When will tickets go on sale?
Tickets will be on sale from Wednesday 24 September 2026 from 10am AEST.
Pre-sales begins next Tuesday 23 September 2026 with staggered release times across each city. You can register for pre-sale tickest now on the Laneway Festival website.
The 2025 event was a huge sell-out. To the point that the festival organisers had to release a second round of tickets in order to meet the demand. If you plan on attending Laneway 2026, you will need to bookmark the ticket on-sale date and have a strategy going in.
Registering for pre-sale will be nearly essential in the humble opinion of this masthead. Based on previous experience, it was much easier to access tickets with a pre-sale link than without it.
