Aussie EYEKONS are finally getting their moment. KATSEYE – fresh off a headline-grabbing performance at Coachella Weekend One – have officially confirmed they will be heading to Australian through Universal Music Australia. Yes – you heard that right. And it would mark the first time the group has made their way down under.
Universal Australia has been teasing the appearance all week – and it comes at a pivotal time for the group, who have debuted new music, are gearing up for Coachella Weekend Two and are notably performing without member Manon Bannerman, who is currently on a temporary hiatus to focus on her health. Despite her absence, the group still delivered one of the weekend’s most talked-about sets, further cementing their rising global status.
Here's what we know so far.
When will they be coming?
Because we're sleuths – it looks like KATSEYE will be heading to Australia in early May 2026. (Which is so soon!)
We did some digging through the official terms and conditions for Universal Music's competition winners and noticed that the Sydney Q&A would be flying winners out on 6 May. Which means they'll definitely need to be in the country by then.

The group already has a packed run of major festival appearances lined up across the year. They’ve performed at Coachella in April, and are set to appear at Governors Ball Music Festival in June, followed by Hinterland Music Festival between late July and early August, and Head In The Clouds Festival in August. With such a busy festival calendar concentrated in North America through mid-2026, it’s unlikely they would squeeze in a full Australian tour during that period.
What's been confirmed?
An Instagram post earlier this week encouraged fans to join their broadcast channel and mailing list to be “the first to hear the news", where a countdown clock began the counting down toward a Thursday 16th April announcement made at 9am AEST.

Today, our suspicions were confirmed, with the Universal team posting an Instagram Reel that confirms the upcoming Australian appearance. The post also encouraged fans to pre-order the group's upcoming third EP WILD to win a grand prize of flights, accommodation and a double pass to an exclusive Q&A in Sydney. Winner(s) will be determined on 29 April 2026.

Where will they be going?
It seems like they only city they will definitively be heading to so far is Sydney, Australia for a fan Q&A event somewhere in the city. If a tour does happen, we'd expect major stops like Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane – but this is as-yet unconfirmed. These are the usual hotspots for international acts – and given how passionate the EYEKONS fanbase is becoming, venues in these cities could easily sell out.
It would also mark a huge milestone for the group, as they’ve never been to Australia before. Despite that, they’ve been vocal about wanting to come here, telling Rolling Stone back in August 2025 that they "looooooove Troye Sivan" and that they "cannot wait to perform in Australia one day.” We're hopeful a full tour rollout is hot on the heels of this Sydney Q&A.
When and where are tickets on sale?
At this point, tickets for the Sydney Q&A event are not publicly on sale. You can sign up to win tickets to the event via the Universal Music Australia website, which is so far our only in.
However, if tickets to go on sale, for Universal Music Australia, artists generally go on sale through major Australian ticketing platforms, with Ticketek and Ticketmaster being the most common, often alongside partner promoters like Frontier Touring or Live Nation.
