For our first guest edit I wanted to share my ‘greatest of all time’ pieces; where essentials meet statement pieces that you will not only have in the wardrobe forever but never tire of. Visitors to my wardrobe are always surprised at how tightly edited it is, as I am led by buying the best quality I can afford at the time (and sometimes it means I don’t shop for months) and taking solace in the idea that women with bland wardrobes lead colourful lives. I blame all the earth signs in me but when I choose something I really want it to be with me always.

MATTEAU
Breton Stripe TeeA$300
Nothing says off-duty like a Breton and Australian brand Matteau makes the ultimate piece. A mid-weight piece for all seasons and all occasions. I hope they never stop making this shirt, but I have bought a spare as it's on such high rotation.
Jaeger-LeCoultre
Reverso One DuettoA$42,700
With time being our most precious commodity, a time piece is the most personal choice we’ll ever make. Jaeger-LeCoultre's Reverso One Duetto is a beautiful art deco piece that translates into the evening and generally makes one feel extremely fancy. I love this in Carmine red.
PHOEBE PHILLO
DROP JEANSA$1,800
To be honest, white denim can be tricky, but if we can trust anyone with it it is Phoebe Philo. Introducing the drop denim of our dreams. They are the right amount of stiffness and softness and can be worn all year round. Just watch the coffee.
P.JOHNSON
Black Silk Tuxedo Coat DressA$2,095
We all want to be a part of the P.Johnson club. If I had to choose just one of their pieces, it's this tuxedo coat of shantung dupioni silk. It is the item I pack on every trip and always end up wearing the most. Worn on its own with a pair of sheer black tights for a Robert Palmer girl inspired evening look or with jeans and a white tee and loafers or thongs for a go anywhere, everyday meeting moment.
Cartier
Panthère de Cartier RingA$5,950
A gold ring of any kind is an everyday staple in my jewellery collection, but there's something about this Cartier Panthère de Cartier ring I have always loved. Perhaps it was Louis Cartier's associate, Jeanne Toussaint's, evolution of the motif that really drew me to the creature's personality. I've never been able to look at a panther the same way since.
DIOR
Asymmetric ShirtA$3,000
In my opinion Christian Dior makes the icon of white shirts. Classic, impeccably cut and of the finest of fabrics. The kind of shirt you only buy once a decade. To be tucked into jeans or trousers. Instant sophistication.
HAULIER
Linen SockA$50
The ultimate comfort item, these socks by Haulier were produced in Italy with pure linen. The cotton rib are equally as good.
SAINT LAURANT
SuitA$9,650
I’ll admit I am deeply influenced by Charlotte Rampling in Saint Laurent’s Winter 24 campaign and this is the silk crepe suit of my dreams (jacket and pants). A suit is both a uniform and an armour and this one is to have forevermore. Beare Park also makes incredible suits for everyday wear and maximum ease.
TIFFANY&CO
Scorpion PendantA$9,250
Some of the most special people in my life are Scorpio’s and I can keep them close to my heart (literally) with this Elsa Peretti designed Scorpion necklace that feels the right mix of discreet and not to be missed.
THE ROW
Soft Loafer in LeatherA$1,250
The most comfortable, most versatile loafer I have ever owned. It feels like wearing a sock.
CELINE
Serge JeansA$1,700
I don’t know what makes Celine denim so good but they truly are the great jeans for comfort and age like a fine wine. My current preferred style is the Serge, which is really more of a wide leg than a flare.
ADIDAS ORIGINALS + Wales Bonner
Recycled-Jersey Track PantsA$433
The humble track pant is one of design’s greatest gifts and I love the universality of the adidas three stripe. adidas and Wales Bonner is potentially one of my favourite ever ‘collaborations’ and I love the fresh colourways presented in their collections. I don’t really subscribe to the idea that the chic don’t own a pair, I bet they do in private.
PASPALEY
Keshi Pearl EarringA$1,980
On my most coveted list is a single natural Keshi pearl earring from Australian luxury jeweller Paspaley.
SALOMON
XT-6 SneakersA$346
I can’t go past the Salomon for versatility. Fine for a hike but also okay when you’re staying at an inner city hotel.
BOTTEGA VENETA
Scudo Shield SunglassesA$1,050
My sunglass personality is anything but demure. I am always open to a Saint Laurent heart, but my recent purchase is a pair of Bottega Veneta’s Scudo Sheild glasses. They are kind of intense but these glasses promise serious privacy.
LOEWE
Draped ShirtA$1,800
For business and for pleasure, nothing can replace an Oxford shirt. I particularly love this draped version from Loewe, as it looks just as good worn oversized with denim as it does tucked into a classic suit trouser.
Prada
Buckle Bag LargeA$9,400
I could do an edit just on bags but in terms of new styles that have caught my eye, my pick is this Prada Buckle Bag for easy wear, the classic CHANEL backpack, the Bottega Veneta Large Andiamo in silky calfskin for when I'm carrying a little extra, and of course, my timeless Dragon Diffusion tote. And as a horse girl, for an easy to grab purse I love the Gucci Horsebit 1955. An icon piece never out of style.
Driza-Bone
Rider CoatA$499
Burberry do it best (especially if you can find their light weight vintage versions) but as an All-Australian alternative and a coat that will last a lifetime I can’t go past the iconic Driza-Bone rider coat for genuine practicality. For over 100 years the dry wax finish has been keeping us actually totally dry. If you are unsure, try to track down Michael Hutchence wearing it on stage for Countdown in the 90s.
HERMÈS
Saint-Honore TieA$430
Adding a tie is my favourite way to bring a formality to a look and to show I have consciously dressed for an occasion. Always open to a masculine motifs this one has stayed with me since I first saw the Ralph Lauren tie on Diane Keaton in Annie Hall.
