Jenna Ortega’s bewitching style is just as iconic as her acting roles

jenna ortega

She's gothy, she's preppy, and she's all Jenna Ortega. We've had our eyes on this generation's Wednesday Addams for a while now, and watched, entranced, as she's resurfaced into the limelight with a ubiquitously themed Beetlejuice press run. Colour us dripping crimson. She's pulled on our heartstrings and a fleet of iconic looks from Christian Dior and Thom Browne, and today we've decided to inspect from afar at what the Ortega vault has blessed us with thus far.

The actress is a patron saint of all things black, oozing with vampiric cool. (Tu m'étonnes...) Unsurprisingly, she possesses range, and will just as easily intermingle spring florals amongst her more macabre fittings. During the light of the day, she opts for a relaxing, boosted day wardrobe, and before you can hail Bloody Mary six times, she's back in an ornate gown on the press tour yet again. Her weapon of choice? A handbag in the shapeware of a book, labelled fittingly: Handbag for the recently deceased.

Below, we're hailing some of her wreathed best, in honour of yet another method-dressing tour that has cemented fashion history. Join us in paying pilgrimage to some of Jenna Ortega's most bewitching looks.

In a femme twist of events, Ortega can also do seersucker pink in Dior. Never put her in a box.

More Beetlejuice press looks that are good enough to be immortalised forever.

At the Miller's Girl premiere, Ortega presented a more risque front in white floral applique.

Central Park bench chic. Exercise with nonchalance.

Beetlejuice Mexico deserves a crowning moment of its own. This dark emerald gown is sculptural, fern-rustic and fit to form.

Yet another Thom Browne press look that walks the line between preppy and delightfully quaint. Clock that bag for her usually ooky spooky touch.

Duo-chrome corsetry is an avant-garde move. How shall we compare thee to Cruella.

Coachella-ready, with a kerchief around her neck. We'll cop the look for our Australian legs of the festival season.

We love tartan. We love it in red, and on Miss Addams.

Press interviews never looked so good.
