Jacob Elordi goes Bleu as CHANEL’s latest ambassador

It's not Friday just yet, but we are kicking our feet, twirling our hair, and rewatching the Kissing Booth like it's a ritual thanks to the news that Australian actor, Jacob Elordi, was just announced as CHANEL's latest ambassador for their Bleu De CHANEL fragrance.

Already having one of the best years in his career with the release of Euphoria season threeWuthering Heights and becoming an Academy Award nominee – and we're not even five months into the year – Elordi can now add CHANEL ambassador under his belt. Right next to his title for hunkiest man alive – one that the RUSSH team bestowed on him ourselves.

The Bleu De CHANEL man

Elordi was appointed as the latest ambassador of the Houses' Bleu De Chanel fragrance on 23 April 2026. Leading up to the official announcement, the House teased this ambassadorship through cryptic reels, indulging us to "uncover the identity of the Bleu De CHANEL man?" on their posts. But let's be real, we could spot his side profile a mile away, so this was an easy game for us.

This is quite the moment for him, being only the third man to be the face for it. Prior, the Bleu De CHANEL man was Marty Supreme actor Timothée Chalamet, who was appointed in 2023, and starred in the incredible campaign short film directed by academy award winning director Martin Scorsese. And for a little bit of background on the fragrance, Bleu De Chanel has only been around since 2010, quite a youthful fragrance for the heritage House which was founded in 1910. And before Chalamet, the first face for the fragrance was French actor Gaspard Ulliel who held the appointment from 2010 to 2022. And it was the clear appeal that Bleu De CHANEL had to cinema that aligned with Elordi. "The filmmakers and actors who have collaborated with the House before me are people I deeply respect and admire. Being able to become part of this story is an honor.” Elordi shares.

Matthieu Blazy and Jacob Elordi have history

This unveils a new chapter for the house under CHANEL's creative director Matthieu Blazy, who already has an existing friendship with Elordi, after appointing him as a House ambassador of Bottega Veneta prior to CHANEL in 2024. And are we surprised by Blazy bringing over his good mate Elordi to his new House? Not at all, this is quite the common occurrence we see between creative directors when they move Houses. It already sounds like a perfect match, with Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur, Head of Global Creative Resources, Fragrance and Beauty, at CHANEL
shared Elordi "Perfectly embodies BLEU DE CHANEL: expressing freedom, mystery, magnetism, and a masculinity that blends modernity with a certain classic elegance.” Honestly, we couldn't agree more.
