The best (and funniest) reactions to Harry Styles’ new single, ‘Aperture’

The day has finally come. After a wait that felt like an eternity, there is new Harry Styles music on the airwaves, in the form of the lead single, 'Aperture' on his forthcoming album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.

For many, the song marks a distinct departure from Styles' sound so far. It seems the 31-year-old singer is keen to bid goodbye to the sugary sweetness of his Harry's House and Fine Line days, in favour of something a little more techno-esque. Over on Reddit, some fans are likening the new sound to that of Tame Impala — particularly his Deadbeat album.

It's not all entirely surprising. In addition to the album art, which suggested a new era for Styles, select fans who managed to make it into exclusive listening parties yesterday took to the internet to do their best to recreate what they had heard for the rest of us. If your TikTok FYP is anything like ours, the last 24-hours has been flooded with said fans attempting to describe the techno-meets-synth-pop sound that we now know to be Aperture — with varying degrees of success.

Of course, when an artist comeback is so hotly anticipated, and his fans are this rabid for newness, it's not surprising that they haven't held back in letting us know how they feel about 'Aperture'. Below, the best and most outrageous reactions to Harry Styles' new single, courtesy of the internet.
