Consider this your official warning: for the next eight weeks, we're going to find it hard to talk about little else other than I Love LA. Rachel Sennott's long-awaited comedy officially premiered on HBO Max last week, and it was every bit as magical and hilarious as we'd hoped.

Unsurprisingly, even before the first episode launched, the project was already being hailed as this generation's answer to Lena Dunham's Girls. It's even less surprising when you consider the cast is the stuff of (literal) dreams: Odessa A’zion, Jordan Firstman, Miles Robbins, True Whitaker, and Josh Hutcherson all star alongside Sennott.

But in addition to the on-point casting and painfully real writing, there's another detail about I Love LA worth obsessing over – the outfits. Every scene so far feels like a love letter to the city’s distinct brand of style: think vintage denim and thrifted leather, Balenciaga city bags, and Orseund Iris mini dresses.
