Waverley Mills collaborates with NGA and Arthur Boyd exhibition

Waverley Mills was commission by the National Gallery to created a limited three-piece collection for the Arthur Boyd: Tapestries exhibition. Each of these woven pieces has been inspired by Arthur Boyd's Life of St Francis tapestry series. It includes an 18-micron Australian Merino wool scarf, a 22-micron Australian wool throw blanket, and a durable utility and pet blanket woven from Australian wool. Introducing the Dior Maison Godron collection

The new Dior Maison Godron collection is inspired by a piece in the Dior archives. Artistic Director and Interior Designer Cordelia de Castellane has reimagined the Art Deco Godron motif and translated this into a series of tableware pieces. Two iconic brands, one sun-kissed hue. Pantone and Koala have together created 'Australia 01, a shade of green that embodies Australia. To mark the launch, Koala has commissioned artists Shannon Heath, Dan Kyle and Niah McLeod to create works inspired by Australia 01. You can find them for auction (until 16 August) at ArtBid with 100% of the proceeds going to Karrkad Kanjdji Trust, an Indigenous-led conservation organisation supporting traditional land management and cultural stewardship across West Arnhem Land.

USM and Armando Cabral have worked on a second collection

Introducing “NKYINKYIM A CASA”, a collaborative collection from Swiss furniture maker USM and designer Armando Cabral. This marks the second collaboration for the two design powerhouses. This is a project that looks to imagine how design can translate generational memory into tangible being. This is an eight-piece range based on USM's Haller system.
Swiss modular furniture pioneer USM and designer Armando Cabral have reunited to unveil the “NKYINKYIM A CASA” collection, marking the second chapter of their ongoing collaborative exploration following its initial launch in 2025. Named after the Ghanaian Adinkra symbol representing transformation, growth and non-linear progress, the project explores how design can carry cultural memory across geographies and generations. Drawing from Cabral’s personal journey spanning Guinea-Bissau, Portugal, London and New York, the collection conceives the home not as a static space, but as a dynamic, living system centered around gathering, ritual and storytelling.
The eight-piece collection brings a tactile, human warmth to USM’s timeless Haller modular system by integrating historic Portuguese material traditions. To achieve this synthesis of industrial precision and heritage craft, Cabral collaborated with traditional Portuguese mill Fabricaal. The heritage mill outfitted several key seating designs in vibrant woolen textiles rooted in the richly colored palettes and centuries-old weaving techniques of Portugal’s Alentejo region, bridging the gap between Swiss structural engineering and artisanal textile production.
