Put Rachel Sennott in just about film and you can guarantee we'll watch it. But a surreal thriller opposite Nicole Kidman and Matthew MacFadyen? Yep, we're seated. In Holland, we're getting exactly that, with the trio bringing to life an eery thriller about a small, seemingly perfect town. But, judging by the first trailer, this picturesque facade is pretty quickly debunked, revealing something much more sinister at play. Interested? Of course you are. Everything you need to know — including the trailer — below.

What is Holland about?
As you've probably gathered from the trailer, Holland lives up to its billing as an unpredictable thriller.
According to the official synopsis, Kidman plays Nancy Vandergroot, a "meticulous" teacher and housewife "whose picture-perfect life with her community pillar husband and son in tulip-filled Holland, Michigan, tumbles into a twisted tale." Things reportedly go awary when Nancy and her friend (Gael García Bernal) become suspicious of something sinister, and dark secrets about both their lives unravel.
Who else is cast in Holland?
As mentioned, MacFadyen is trading Succession for family life, playing Nancy's husband. Young actor Jude Hill will play their son.
While we sadly didn't get a glimpse of her in character from the trailer, we also know that Sennot plays someone called Candy Deboer. Exactly how she slots into the story remains unclear.
Behind the scenes, the story of Holland is brought to life by director Mimi Cave, who brought us the offbeat thriller Fresh (starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan) back in 2022.
