At this point, I'm so attached to Heartbreak High that the third (and final) season feels as monumental as when I actually graduated high school. What doesn't feel like my own school experience, however, is the fashion. The shin-length uniform and felt hat I wore really doesn't hold a candle to the Hartley High-ers' wardrobes, which this season once again span vintage finds mixed with the coolest pieces from local and international designers.
If you're anything like me, you've paused pretty much every episode of season three to Google exactly where Amerie's mini skirt is from, or Quinni's colourful crop, or Harper's graphic tee. The schoolies looks
Schoolies on the gold coast might have changed in the 10 years since I was there, but if there's one thing that's remained, it's the permission the week grants its attendees to dress exactly how they want to. Colourful shorts, mini skirts, crop tops, bikinis, and caps are the favourites here.
