Somebody check on the Harry Styles fans. Amidst surprise theatrical releases and cryptic posters, the latest update in the speculation surrounding Styles rumoured fourth album is major. According to reports by Page Six, the singer could be headed to Madison Square Garden in New York City in 2026 for a months-long residency. Yep, you read that right.
When would the residency be?
At this stage, there's no firm dates beyond some time in 2026 — nor has Styles himself confirmed rumours of the residency. However, if it does turn out to be true, looking to his past tours for some hints as to the duration.
Styles had a historic 15-night, sold -out residency at Madison Square Garden in August and September 2022 as part of his “Love On Tour” series. And according to Page Six, this time around he could follow suit, with the outlet reporting the singer has the venue locked in for "a significant chunk of time."
We can also look to what other performers are scheduled to perform at Madison Square Garden in 2026 for further clues. At the time of writing, the venue has a decent gap between Bring Me The Horizon’s show on May 2 and Charlie Puth’s announced show on May 29. Then, there's nearly a month free between Olivia Dean's show on August 18 and Mt. Joy on September 17. After that, there's no other artists slated to perform until Doja Cat has her show on December 1. Could Styles have a nearly three-month long residency on the horizon? A girl can dream.
What else do we know about the residency?
Unfortunately, not much. The latest in this ever-evolving saga comes courtesy of what looks to be the launch of Styles' new website, webelongtogether.co.
If you've visited the page, you'll know it features a looping video of fans in a crowd — one very similar to those cryptic posters that have cropped up across the globe in recent days. Then, when you click on the video, you're taken to a WhatsApp number, and the words "We belong together." We really don't think we need to explain why this has sent fans into a frenzy.
Stay tuned for more updates.
