When we first saw this news announced on Role Model's Iinstagram (aka Tucker Pillsbury) in true Role Model fashion, it felt like another tongue-in-cheek prank. But oh no, it’s real. The musician is officially making his acting debut in Good Sex, a new Netflix rom-com directed by none other than Lena Dunham. Here's everything we know about Good Sex.
Who else is starring in Good Sex?

We certainly didn't have this on our bingo cards this year, but the Sally, When the Wine Runs Out singer will be starring in Dunham's film Good Sex, marking his first on-screen role. Joining him are acting prodigies Natalie Portman – who is also a producer of the film alongside Dunham, and Mark Ruffalo, which feels like a fever dream we didn’t know we needed.
Dunham isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Alongside Good Sex, she’s also behind the upcoming Netflix series Too Much, a romance led by Will Sharpe and Megan Stalter, and also making her broadway directorial debut with 10 Things I Hate About You.
What is Good Sex about?
The film evolves around Ally (Natalie Portman), a couple's therapist, who after a 10 year relationship that just ended, decided in light of her 40th birthday around the corner to try out the dating scene in New York City. Her expectations are quickly upended when she crosses paths with two wildly different men, a charismatic twenty-something (Tucker Pillsbury) and an older man (Mark Ruffalo), both of whom challenge everything she thought she knew about intimacy, desire, and connection.
When will Good Sex premiere?
Netflix hasn’t confirmed a release date just yet, but filming is set to begin this year. And while there isn't a date yet, we'll keep you updated as we find out more.
