Glen Luchford’s most iconic Prada campaigns are forever immortalised in a new book


Glen Luchford is easily one of the most prolific and legendary photographers of our time. His signature photographs, which often appear as though they have been captured as a still from a movie have touched the corners of most of the fashion industry, lensing some of the most legendary brand campaigns we know today with luxury houses like Yves Saint LaurentGivenchyChloé, Lanvin, Calvin Klein, and Gucci.

Having captured the worlds most famous faces, Luchford signed an exclusive contract with Prada in 1997, and now, a book designed by Self Service Magazine's Ezra Petronio has been released as a tribute to celebrate the photographers time at the fashion house.

Published by IDEA, the book, titled 'Glen Luchford, Prada 96-98 will include all of the signature images Luchford captured during the years he was with the luxury house, and features imagery with the likes of Amber Valletta, Joaquin Phoenix and Willem Dafoe in shots that feel pulled from film sets. The 116-page-long hardback will additionally feature an interview by Lou Stoppard, which will be exclusive to the book, and explores the photographer’s influence on the fashion industry and the ripple effect such images have had on the world.

Upon purchasing the book, it will arrive to readers with Chromolux inserts for readers to enjoy high-quality prints of the works. A fun and special bonus for those who are looking to add Luchford's sexy, moody and glossy campaign images to their interiors . The catch, is that the book will only run 1,000 copies. Glen Luchford Prada 96-98 is now available via IDEA’s online store with exclusive stockists such as ever-famous Dover Street Market, which will reportedly see a later release on December 12.
