Woody Harrelson, Kristen Stewart, and Emma Mackey team up for ‘Full Phil’

Woody Harrelson, Kristen Stewart, and Emma Mackey aren't three names we ever expected to see side-by-side. But with Full Phil, we're certainly not mad that it's happened. The trio are set to star in the French project, which comes courtesy of filmmaker Quentin Dupieux, and is already drawing parallels to The White Lotus. Want to know more? All the important details, below.

What is Full Phil about?

According to reports, Harrelson stars as Philip Doom, a wealthy American industrialist who tries to bond with his estranged daughter, Madeleine (played by Stewart), on a luxury trip to Paris. But as the synopsis reads, this doesn't go exactly to plan for the father-daughter duo: “Unfortunately, French cuisine, a 1950s horror film and an intrusive hotel employee disrupt the smooth running of their stay.”

Who is involved?

Strengthening the White Lotus accusations, the project also stars Charlotte Le Bon, who you might remember as the mysterious Chloe from season three of the franchise. Joining her are Tim Heidecker, and Nassim Lyes. There's no word yet on which role these three will play, nor how Mackey fits into the picture.

As for Dupieux, the iconic musician-turned-filmmaker is known for his absurdist, comedic works. You might remember his most recent work, The Second Act, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2024, with a stellar French cast including Lea Seydoux, Vincent Lindon and Louis Garrel.

This time around, although the cast is American (and the project will be in English), Full Phil is set to be filmed entirely in Paris, and will utilise a French crew.

When does Full Phil come out?

Filming is now underway in Paris, so we're hopeful that Full Phil could hit our screens in late 2026 (at the earliest), or early 2027. We'll keep you updated as we know more.
