Field Day is making sure 2027 gets off to an excellent start, with the announcement of its New Year's Day lineup.
Leading the bill is Major Lazer, who will make their long-awaited return to Australia for the first time in 11 years. They’ll be joined by UK DJ Sub Focus, with a third headliner yet to be announced (watch this space).

Who is on the Field Day 2027 lineup?
Major Lazer will headline the festival, making their first visit in Sydney for in more than a decade. In case you need a refresher, the group (which includes Diplo, DJs Walshy Fire and Ape Drums, and vocalist America Foster) are behind some of the biggest hits of the past decade, including 'Lean On' and 'Cold Water'.
Major Lazer is joined at the top of the lineup by UK DJ Sub Focus, and a third act that is currently under wraps.

When and where is Field Day 2027?
As always, Field Day will take place on Friday, January 1, 2027, at The Domain in Gadigal/Sydney.
The festival will run across three stages, with Casamigos Camp Ground returning as the LGBTQIA+-curated stage.
How to get tickets to Field Day 2027
For those aged 18 to 25, Field Day is introducing a limited ticket initiative for $99.90. The tickets are aimed at young people who missed out on some of their formative live music experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 18–25 ticket ballot opens at 12pm AEST on Wednesday, September 2, and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday, September 6. Successful applicants will be notified on Monday, September 7.
For everyone else, Field Day presale tickets go on sale at 12pm AEST on Wednesday, September 9, before general public tickets become available from 10am AEST on Thursday, September 10.
