Under the Balearic sun, where salt hangs in the air and time seems to loosen its grip, Felicity Brand and Samuel Beck gathered their closest friends for a wedding that felt as effortless as it was electric. The creative duo exchanged vows at Los Enamorados in Ibiza’s north – a place that had lodged itself in their imaginations years earlier, during their first overseas trip together, long before engagement rings and guest lists entered the picture.

“The first time we met was at a gig at the Enmore Theatre – Felicity in six-inch Celine stilettos.”
I was there with some friends for a Jack River show. Felicity invited herself along and rocked up, towering over me. I wasn’t sure it would last…
From there, Felicity didn’t leave – then moved in three months later. I’m still trying to get her deported back to England.
Truthfully, it all felt natural from the beginning – when you know, you know.
“There was no dramatic kneeling... just a simple, perfect moment.”
Sam was visiting me for a weekend in Paris while I was there working during June fashion week. I had no idea what he was planning.
After lunch at Lou Lou, he suggested a walk through the Jardin des Tuileries – a place that has always held special meaning for me. There was no dramatic kneeling, which would have made us both cringe, just a simple, perfect moment where he handed me a ring box containing the most beautiful, unique ring – one my Mum, who is a jeweller, had helped him find.

“We joked that Los Enamorados would be the ultimate place to get married.”
We first visited Ibiza together in October 2019 on our first overseas trip and immediately fell in love with the island’s energy. We stayed in the north at Los Enamorados – where we later held our ceremony – and joked at the time that it would be perfect.
I think we both had it in our minds that if it was to happen, it was always going to be there.
“In three words? Relaxed. Joyful. Electric.”
The Balearic sun transported us all to another time. There’s something in that salty Ibiza air – it makes you feel like you can truly relax and let your hair down.

“A custom P. Johnson suit – and a chainmail mini dress made to dance in.”
Sam wore a custom P. Johnson suit styled effortlessly with sandals.
I worked closely with Kyha Scott on a series of custom looks – a true collaboration. The main gown featured a jewellery back I’d always dreamed of creating, brought to life with Jasmine Sparrow.
Later, I changed into a chainmail mini dress to dance into the evening. It involved working with a PhD student from RMIT who specialises in chainmail, alongside an old-school knitwear patternmaker – an incredible team effort and a testament to Kyha’s dedication.

“The sprinter vans turned into one enormous white bus – and we all ended up walking.”
It couldn’t navigate the narrow Ibiza roads, so the entire wedding party walked ten minutes instead. I still remember looking back and seeing everyone laughing as the sun went down.
“Sam wooed me with a playlist when we first met, and music stayed central to the day.”
We began with Paradise by Sade for the ceremony, then shifted gears at Casa Lhasa where DJ Chris English played vinyl through dinner.
Later, we transported everyone to the iconic club Pikes, where one of Sam’s artists, Flight Facilities, played a three-hour set in Freddie’s – one of the venue’s legendary rooms named after Freddie Mercury.

“Campari Spritz to start – then natural wine and tequila.”
For the ceremony we served Campari Spritzes before moving into natural wines and tequila curated by Ben Shpunt and the team from Casa Lhasa.

“An oyster bar, Galician scallops – and sea bass anchoring the table.”
Casa Lhasa delivered an unforgettable feast with a strong focus on seafood. There was an oyster bar during aperitivo, anchovy gildas and ricotta-stuffed courgette flowers, followed by melon and mojama and Galician scallops with wild-herb butter.
For mains, sea bass was served alongside panzanella and garden salad, finished with a light melon and mint granita – perfect for the Balearic heat.
“Having our friend Mel officiate made everything feel deeply personal.”
Getting ready was just as special – surrounded by friends, keeping things calm and grounded. My best friend Gabrielle Penfold gave me a gua sha ritual and massage, and Lauren McGowan generously did my hair and makeup.

“Walking down the aisle arm in arm with my friend Chloe – seeing Sam smiling back at me. Knowing all our friends had gathered there just for us was an incredibly special feeling. One that still makes me well up even thinking about it now.”
