Gail Sorronda hosts 20th anniversary runway in Brisbane

The Brisbane-based fashion label hosted its Chromophobia show this week in Brisbane to commemorate its 20th anniversary. The luminous and experiential runway featured Sorronda’s 2025 Resort Collection, a reflection on the spectrum of the label throughout it’s evolution. Guests were treated to drinks and canapés before the show, as well as a guest performance by Australasian Dance Collective

MECCA welcomes PHLUR to stores

MECCA has announced it will stock cult US fragrance house PHLUR exclusively in-stores and online across Australia and New Zealand from 26 August 2025. Led by creative director Chriselle Lim, the brand is celebrated for its sustainably crafted, storytelling-driven scents, including viral hits Missing Person and Vanilla Skin.

Country to Couture hosted its 10th anniversary runway

Country to Couture’s 10th anniversary runway showcased the largest and most diverse celebration of First Nations fashion in Australia, with over 80 artists, designers, and Art Centres presenting collections inspired by Country, community, and culture. From the earthy storytelling of Threads of Country to the vibrant energy of Rising Colours: The BLAK Party, the milestone event honoured a decade of cultural excellence and creative innovation led by Indigenous voices.

Beare Park launches denim

Beare Park debuted its first-ever denim collection this week, featuring three washed blue styles: the High-Rise Long Jean, Mid-Rise Relaxed Jean, and Denim Bermuda Short, with the campaign shot by Ellie Coker.
