The Rolling Stones at Saatchi Gallery

In a rundown flat in Chelsea, London, the Rolling Stones were born. Now, more than 50 years later, the band is returning to its 60s haunt, and Chelsea’s Saatchi Gallery in particular, with Exhibitionism: The Rolling Stones – an immersive insight into the Stones’ iconic history. Here you’ll find rare instruments, original stage designs and quintessential costumes alongside rare archival recordings and video footage. Perhaps most incredibly, the exhibition also includes a recreation of the home in Edith Grove, Chelsea, where the band coined its name, complete with cigarette butts, Playboys and dirty plates – in Keith Richards’ words, “The whole bloody thing”. Exhibitionism runs until September 4 at Saatchi Gallery.
