EVERAU looks to the Australian way of life for its latest collection

In partnership with EVERAU

When EVERAU first debuted its Stud Collection during Australian Fashion Week in May, the setting felt instinctive. Rooted in Australian design codes and a longstanding appreciation for natural materials and craftsmanship, EVERAU has always understood the particular way Australians dress, move and live.

For the Stud collection, however, there’s a shift in expression. Looking to the 1970s, the brand takes the familiar tactility of suede and shearling and offsets it with studs, buckles and metal hardware. The result is a tougher, more directional take on the shoe, while still grounded in the comfort and materiality synonymous with the brand.

So, when it came time to officially launch the collection, the brand looked north — to Bondi, to be more specific.

At sunrise, high above the water at Bondi Icebergs, EVERAU hosted 'Sunrise to Street', an intimate morning of movement, breath work and breakfast built around the distinctly Australian ritual of starting the day by the ocean. Outside, Bondi was already in motion, with waves breaking against the rocks as the morning sun filled the space. Inside, guests arrived in activewear, each styling pieces from the Stud Collection. Some took to the Rovelle Stud Slippers, while others opted for the brand’s more traditional Earlova boot style.

The morning began with Bree Medway leading a mat pilates session overlooking the water. Afterwards, guided breath work led by Rory Warnock helped guests slow their heart rates and ease back into the day. The pace softened further over coffee, banana smoothies and breakfast, enjoyed with a side of picturesque Bondi views.

There’s a tension to the Stud Collection that makes it compelling, with soft shearling set against hard studs. The silhouettes feel familiar, drawing on what is so loved about the brand, while the hardware introduces something more subversive. It’s an evolution of EVERAU’s Australian sheepskin heritage, reframing familiar materials through a more fashion-forward approach.

As the morning moved on, so did the collection. From the studio to breakfast and out onto the street, the pieces moved seamlessly through each setting – relaxed, adaptable and grounded in the everyday.
