Au revoir Paris – Emily’s final chapter unfolds in Greece

Everyone's beloved show Emily In Paris is sadly coming to an end with the sixth season. But, the show is sent to end with a bang.

The announcement came via Instagram where the cast and crew shared behind-the-scenes photos of production in Greece. This final season will pick up from season five where we were left on a cliffhanger, in which Gabriel sent Emily a postcard from Greece, asking her to meet him there... Naturally, Emily packs her couture and heads straight for another emotionally confusing European summer. Will they stay in each other's lives or will they finally move on? Time will tell.

Below, find everything to know about season six of Emily In Paris.

What will the final season be about?

This season, Emily swaps Parisian streets for the sun-drenched glamour of Greece. But while the backdrop may be changing, I'm sure we can expect the same messy love triangles, career dilemmas and parties that made us obsessed with the show in the first place.

Creator Darren Star has hinted to Deadline that the final season will tie up long-running storylines while still keeping things unpredictable – so whether Emily and Gabriel are truly endgame or finally ready to move on remains to be seen.

What can we expect in the fashion department?

With the series heading to Greece, we're expecting the fashion to lean into the full European summer with designer resort wear, vintage Pucci prints, oversized sunglasses, and silky matching sets.

Over the past few seasons, Emily’s style has slowly evolved from maximalism into something slightly more polished, and season six will likely continue that shift. Of course, the show’s signature camp style won't be going anywhere either. And from the images we've seen from behind the scenes, Emily's character is already sporting some white linen jumpsuits with red trimming, paired with slingback sandals.

And considering this is the final season, we won't be surprised if costume designer Marylin Fitoussi delivers some truly memorable moments for the farewell.

When will it be released?

Netflix hasn’t confirmed an official release date just yet, but filming began in May 2026 and is expected to continue through September. If the show follows a similar rollout to previous seasons, we can likely expect the final instalment to arrive in late 2026 or early 2027.
