Homewares the ‘RUSSH’ editors are coveting in November

We’re in a dream-state in November. Mia’s finally welcoming her dream Crafted couch, Kirsty’s adding a reformer to her wishlist, and Elyssa’s sketching out early plans for her apartment’s renovations. From sculptural serveware to statement sofas, our editors are leaning into pieces that make our homes feel considered and lived in.

With the holidays on the horizon, we’re also eyeing homewares that double as perfect gifts – discover more in our homewares Christmas gift guide. And if you’re after a little seasonal inspiration, read on to see what’s caught our editors’ attention this month.

Some of my recent homewares saves include the Koala Torquay Modular Sofa in this gorgeous velvety cocoa hue. I’m also on the hunt for some multi-purpose silver coupees (these on Etsy look to be a solid option). I also walked past the MCM House showroom the other day and saw a table set up with their new Matcha Tollop Dining Chairs that look so comfortable and fun. Somehow I ripped open one of my pillowcases in the night and these cute Abbotson Linen Ticking Stripe Pillowcases from Sheridan might be a sweet replacement with a little bit of pattern.

I did a deep dive into the cobalt blue trend this week, and now I think I might have a new favourite colour on my hands. Naturally, I now need this rug by Cold Picnic in my life. Now that hosting season is underway, I’ve noticed a severe lack in my home’s stock of wine gasses. I really like the slightly eclectic feel of these ones by Akua Objects. And on a similar note, you can never have enough serveware in my opinion. This rosey cake stand by Dinosaur Designs would make the perfect centrepiece to a festive feast.

And last (but certainly not least), a reformer by Your Reformer has crept onto my wishlist. I can’t imagine anything dreamier than being able to roll out of bed and onto the reformer in the morning…

My new Crafted lounge arrives this month! I’m very excited. It also means my living room does need a tiny bit of restyling. I already have a cream Berber rug from a trip to Morocco a few years ago. I’ve had it waiting in storage. But I will need some new throw pillows. I know it’s more popular not to have pillows but I actually use them to lie on. I like these rusty-bronze ones from Hommey, but I also love these white ones from Cultiver. I’m still deciding. I think this Worn Store dark side table will complete the vibe and I want to wall mount this Merci Maison mirror just above it. Unrelated to the couch, I want some cute metal bowls for summer aperitivo hour. I love these ones from Country Road and these Service Projects ice cream cups.

I've been a loyal Nespresso machine user for years, but the itch to have my first Breville espressro machine might need to be scratched. The stainless Barista Pro™ is on my wishlist. I've been keen on an incence holder that catches all of the ash and found this Vessel Incense Holder - Chocolate from Gentle Habits. A great gift idea so I might need to buy two.

RJ Living have a Black Friday sale on now, so I've been scrolling for a side table or two and came across the Brooks Tall Side Table - Tide Pool Marble which would be perfect in my living room.

Lastly, holiday season dining is around the corner and I've been loving Same Time Tomorrow's Christmas edit. I've always been a fan of bows in fashion and homewares so I might lean into it this year with this lovely Giant Satin Bow for decoration in my dining room and these black Napkin Rings. Stunning.

The renovation plans on my apartment will officially begin next year, and while I know my first priority should be knocking down walls and new flooring, I can’t help but be delightfully distracted by the fun part – decorating. My living, kitchen and dining will become one open space (hence the wall demolitions) and I want them all to speak to each other. I already have this amazing stainless steel side table from Fleur Studios, which I’m dreaming of pairing with the Cookie Green Travertine side table for a play on texture and colour. We’re also going to create breakfast corner which will also serve as our dining space (you have to be creative in small spaces). I originally thought I wanted a rectangular table for the length, but I came across the matching dining table to my stainless steel side table and I can’t look back.

I also am in desperate need of new appliances and as cooking is one of my favourite pastimes, I have to start with pots and pans. I have had so many friends recommend Our Place, so I’m going to start there. I have my eye on the cookware + bakeware bundle set in the ceramic – it’s perfect for every scenario.

I absolutely love this bed base from Trit House. It’s beautifully simple and made of raw materials. For bedding, The SUKU Home pippa pattern is at the top of my wishlist at the moment and this steamer from The Iconic is the unsung hero of the home. It’s one of those small luxe additions that can make a huge difference to my morning routine. I love anything chrome and this speaker is small, sculptural and doubles as a design piece. This candle by Fazeek is the perfect balance between earthy and fresh. A World of Apartmento is the ultimate coffee table book that showcases creative homes around the world that are unstyled, personal and inspiring.

There are two scent driven staples from Aesop that I live by. The Aesop animal range; technically a gentle wash for my dog Jack, but I also love it for the subtle scent it brings to the bathroom. Aesop hand wash is an obvious choice. Woody, smoky and a little gritty.

I’m on the hunt for elevated entertaining pieces ahead of the festive season as I love to host at home. So far I’ve had my eyes on a new cutlery set from French tableware brand Sabre, and these mouth-blown tumblers from The Conran Shop. This mother-of-pearl swan-shaped spoon is also in my cart - because why not?

When plating up or arranging florals, I gravitate towards pieces from Dinosaur Designs or Louise Roe - this pitcher is divine. And of course, can’t forget to stock up on Champagne to have on standby for special moments - my favourite is Ruinart Blanc de Blancs served in a RIEDEL coupe.

To unwind after all the socialising that comes with hosting, you’ll find me soaking in Baina’s apothecary bath milk and watching TV in my Missoni terry bath-robe - the highest cost-per-wear item in my wardrobe.

In a dream scenario, the bulk of the storage in my house would be USM Haller, in a custom cream colour they have yet to make for me. However, in lieu, their trolley is on my wishlist. Can you imagine having someone pull this up next to you with a martini on it on a Friday afternoon? Heaven. With summer on the way, I would love to upgrade my outdoor furniture on the terrace, and given it’s pink, some clashing red Thonet chairs could be fun. On red, how beautiful is this Petite Palm Rosa Lovanto by Fleur Studios? A girl can also dream about having their own woodfire oven for impromptu pizza parties and grill nights. In this month's most coveted vases we have this gorgeous little pair by Justine Menard so hold a single, beautiful bloom and these pink goddesses by Akua Objects.
