Below, we share the brands and pieces we are loving across home in August.

I’ve been considering the small objects in my home this month - things that may not necessarily need replacing, but the idea of elevating them brings me great joy.

These super-thin, straight-sided tumblers feel perfect for an at-home Negroni, and this REDDUO pitcher has such an unexpected shape that I’d happily put out on display. I’ve also been on the lookout for some new kitchen utensils. These stainless steel tongs are so simple and sleek, and I love the handle on this knife from Robert Herder – very chic.

This refurbed chair would be perfect for an office space, and I’m also tempted to swap out some of the handles on my wardrobe for these burgundy Pebble knobs from Lo & Co. A small change that will make a big difference to the space.

This might finally be the time I buy these spiral coasters. I’ve been looking at them for months but they’re always out of stock when I go to check out. I saw a friend with a striped sheet set from Cultiver and I was so taken that now I want it in the rust colour. I’m kind of obsessed with the Supper Club collection from No. 22 Home. The ashtray makes the perfect jewellery catch-all.

I really love how Maison Balzac’s condiment bottles sit together on the olive tray. I might buy the set as an early birthday treat. I’m loving the new QuietComfort headphones from Bose, such an important investment purchase, particularly if you commute or fly a lot. I also spotted this cookbook online. I think it’s such a chic idea and I love the cover, I may have to add to my collection.

Even though it's an EDP, the notes (Frankincense, Labdanum, Vanilla Bean, Cardamom) in the Above Us, Steorra Eau de Parfum from Aesop makes me want it for spraying on linens and throughout my home before visitors come to visit. Divine.

Speaking of linens, I am yet to own any heavy linen bed covers, so I have the IN BED Oversized Heavy Linen Bed Cover in Natural on my wishlist. I have been enraptured by the new RUSSH Home 05 issue lately (here's your sign to pick it up now if you've been thinking about it). This one feels so special.

As far as furniture, my dream console is the Butter Chocolate one from FLEUR STUDIOS. I have a few sofas to purchase for my new abode currently under construction, and the KING LIVING 1978 Sofa will be ideal for the media room. I love the higher height of the back so one can settle in for long movie nights without lying horizontally.

Last but not least, these new Lo&Co Duet Polished Nickel Pulls will be perfect for my laundry cabinetry.

I’ve recently gotten back into reformer pilates after a brief hiatus, however I love the idea of bringing this grounding ritual home with a Technogym machine.

My love for all things blue is translating to my homewares wishlist. I haven’t stopped thinking about this blue towel set from Tekla and this duvet cover set since I stumbled across them on a regular scroll through their site.

These entry pulls from Lo&Co are a tasteful way to bring a little bit of texture into the home.

With the promise of warmer weather on the horizon means I’m leaning heavily into my hosting duties. This Georg Jensen server set is perfect for a summer salad, whereas this crockery set from No 22 Home is the perfect way to bring memories of Euro summer gone by to the table.

Finally, having recently moved into a new apartment with beautiful hardwood floors, this Roborock hybrid vacuum/mop is high on my list for maintaining their shine.

Homewares are my Achilles' heel when it comes to my finances – I’m constantly adding and upgrading. The slight smell of Spring upon us has me looking for some new vases. This Completed Works vase would be perfect for my all white bathroom – the pearls! Speaking of my bathroom, I’m a huge Raf Simons fan, everything he touches turns to gold, and his latest collaboration with Kvadrat is no exception. I’ve already gotten my hands on this toiletry bag, and these slippers are next up.

My favourite Sydney modernist homewares store, 506070 is bursting with new stock and so many incredible finds including this unbelievable wooden chair, and this Gaetano Pesce which would be the ultimate reading situation. I might have to pop into the newly re-opened Potts Point bookshop for some new reads to enjoy in it.

I’ve just moved in with the boyf (big step, eep!), so there are quite a few things on my list, especially after a big declutter and donating a lot of my older furniture. First up: new sheets. Thankfully, Hommey has just released their new 'Read the Room' collection, and I’m particularly loving the Chambray set. The blue feels perfect for our new bedroom and will add just the right amount of colour. 

Next, we’re in desperate need of some new lighting. We’ve been really drawn to a mushroom-shaped floor lamp, similar to this one. I love how sculptural they are. Then, a new record player. There are very few moments when we don’t have music playing, so I’d love to make more of our record collection and finally give it the setup it deserves. We’re definitely overdue to add some Olivia Dean to the collection, too.

I’m in need of a top up of Aesop hand soap, and lastly, a bit of a dream purchase: this entertainment unit. I think it would fit perfectly underneath our staircase and fill the space beautifully without feeling too bulky.

I’ve long been a fan and frequent visitor to Vampt in Sydney’s Newtown – they’re my insider tip for those looking for an incredible mid-century piece. They just posted this incredible Danish Brazilian Rosewood Dining Table with Brazilian Jorge Zalszupin Chairs. I’m obsessed. As with this Jam Factory Pillar Vase Apricot and The Bruce Stool by New Piece.

We recently acquired some Provider Store Incense in Bergamot, which has become our subtle winter WFH scent, and I’m dreaming of the Autumn Sonata Karin Bath Towels (all of their towels repurpose true vintage designs). I also recently was reminded of Matteau’s book WARM and really need to pick up a copy.

For those along for the journey, the search for the perfect sofa-bed has concluded. We have landed on the Atmosphere in Cypress Green by Cozey. I love that we were able to choose the arm heights and tailor the shape to our space. And I especially appreciate that we can change the covers when we feel like a revamp or if the cat decides to use the upholstery for his manicures. I can’t wait for it to arrive and then to throw this gorgeous mocha blanket around myself with a tea on a Sunday afternoon.

I was very kindly gifted some Sony 1000x THE COLLEXION headphones, which look almost as beautiful as they sound (truly impressive audio). As such, I want to get a bluetooth CD player like this one from Addicted to Audio (in chrome obviously). The vinyl has been getting consistent love in the house, so perhaps it’s time to dig out our CDs again. 

Somewhat less aesthetic, most of my drinks live on a shelf above the fridge, and I have been looking into getting them a cart that can be wheeled out for digestifs and nightcaps. I'm very much taken with this cart from Tamsin Johnson, although I do need to replenish my stock of this year’s Dark Lark 166 before it runs out, and at least a case of Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz. My guests have been loving the perfect balance of fruit and oak. Lastly, we have been having casualties over coffee. Two of my glass cafetieres have decided they would like to break. I’d love to invest in a steel one from Baccarat.
