We think Dua Lipa might be cooking with her fourth album…

While Dua Lipa has been booked and busy as Nespresso and Bulgari's latest ambassador – and celebrating her wedding and honeymoon in Italy – we're fixated on something else entirely, the possibility that her fourth album could be on the way.

It's hard to believe she released her self-titled debut, Dua Lipa, in 2017, followed by Future Nostalgia in 2020 and Radical Optimism in 2024. If that release schedule is anything to go by, we're hoping DL4 could arrive sooner than we think. And it's not just the timeline that's fuelling speculation – there have been a few other clues that have us convinced her fourth album is on the horizon.

Here's everything we know so far.

She has been spotted at Electric Lady Studios (multiple times)

The first sighting was in October 2025, when Dua Lipa – casually, in one of her incredible Instagram carousels – released a few photos of her at Electric Lady Studios in New York City. Commissioned by Jimi Hendrix in 1968 and opening in 1970 – this studio has become a hub where musicians working on their upcoming albums. More recently, upon touching down in New York City after her honeymoon June 2026, Lipa spotted entering and leaving the studio on three consecutive days.

She's confirmed a fourth album is on the way

In June 2025, for her British Vogue cover interview, Lipa confirmed at this point of time she had just started the process of writing a new album. Explaining the feeling of writing a new song "like going home with a little present.” And not only in June 2025, but later in August when she held an in-conversation for Service95 with Mark Ronson, he shared that evening that 50 percent of the album was ready, and this process of writing this album was natural. By this conversation, it seems Ronson could be a producer on Lipa's fourth album.

Could our first listen to DL4 be at Sunny Hill festival?

Founded by Lipa and her father in 2018, Sunny Hill Festival is a music and culture festival that they created to put Kosovo on the map. Slowly releasing the headliners for 2026, we can't help but think this would be the perfect time to perform post-wedding, and after being spotted at the studio – a new song. Time will tell, the festival goes from 31st July to 2nd August 2026.

Will Kevin Parker return?

Kevin Parker, also known as Tame Impala, was her primary co-producer and writer on her last album Radical Optimism, and we're wondering if he'll make an appearance on this album too. With his involvement, we saw some more psychedelic and live instrument influencers in that album that were a nice shift from her more pop-songs. We're big fans here at RUSSH of Parker, so we hope to see these two collaborate again. But being on a global tour this year after just releasing his new album, Deadbeat in October 2025, he might have his hands full.

When will the album be released?

Unfortunately, there is no official timeline on that. Based on speculation of being in the studio for almost a year, we're hoping the second half of 2026, early 2027 (perfect time for a Dua Lipa 2027 summer).
