Doechii is headlining Spilt Milk — here’s why we think an Australian tour will follow suit

Without a doubt, 2024 was Doechii's year. The rapper's second album, Alligator Bites Never Heal, catapulted her from the relative outskirts of the music industry straight to the top of our Spotify playlists, and earned her a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, and a win for Best Rap Album in the process.

Naturally, with the likes of 'Anxiety' and 'Denial Is A River' playing on repeat, we can't help but wonder: will Doechii tour Australia this year? And it looks like our manifestation might have paid off, with the rapper officially signed on for Spilt Milk this year. So, will a solo tour follow suit? Let's investigate.

So, is Doechii touring Australia?

Okay, while nothing is set in stone, we do have reason to believe Doechii is planning a tour Down Under. For starters, the rapper has officially been announced as part of the (very epic) lineup for Spilt Milk later this year. But if you're hoping for a lengthier set than a festival can offer, there's also hope.  Doechii herself took to Instagram live to share plans for an Australian tour in late 2024. Then, in an interview on 2DayFM, the rapper expressed a similar sentiment: "Yes, I'm actually going on tour, and I've been talking about adding an Australia date."

Even better, according to MusicLively, there's about an 85% chance that Doechii will be on Aussie shores in 2025. It's not a concrete plan, but we'll take it.

When will Doechii tour Australia?

If you ask us, it's all about momentum, so it would make sense for Doechii to continue riding the current wave with an Australian tour while she's here. Spilt Milk kicks off on December 6, with the final show slated for December 14.

We also can't help but notice that her international tour schedule has plenty of space from about September onwards. Perhaps she's planning to align her tour with the Australian summer?

How to get tickets to Doechii's Australian tour

We promise we're not getting ahead of ourselves, but we couldn't help but notice that Ticketek has already started a waitlist for fans eager to score tickets to Doechii's Australian shows (if and when they happen). You can sign up to receive ticket alerts here.
