The ultimate cool girl is officially off the market. Devon Lee Carlson has announced her engagement to actor Duke Nicholson – and she did it in the most Devon Lee Carlson way possible.
The model, Wildflower Cases co-founder, RUSSH Beauty Annual cover star and all around dream girl shared the news via a low-key Instagram post: a low key selfie that showed off her new three-stone diamond engagement ring, complete with a red manixure. The caption was also characteristically understated, with Carlson opting for nothing more than a white heart and a trio of exclamation marks.

In a second photo, she celebrated with one arm triumphantly raised in the air — and we would be celebrating the same way if we had that piece of jewellery on our finger, to be honest. Her friends were quick to congratulate her in the comments, including our own Phoebe Tonkin, Nina Park, Rachel Sennott, and Hailey Bieber.
The ring itself is classic with a modern edge, featuring a round-cut centre stone framed by two smaller round diamonds, set on a gold band. Elegant without feeling overly traditional, it's exactly the kind of piece we'd expect from someone whose personal style is a curated mix of vintage and newness, and is a mainstay on our Pinterest boards.
Carlson and Nicholson have been together for almost four years, though they've largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight. Nicholson, the grandson of Hollywood icon Jack Nicholson, doesn't have any public social media profiles. Refreshing in 2026, we have to say. In addition to his famous family, you'd probably recognise Nicholson from his roles in Jordan Peele's Us, as well as The Deputy and In the Hand of Dante.
While details about the wedding are, unsurprisingly, under wraps (and probably still TBC considering they only just got engaged), we're already wondering what a Devon Lee Carlson bride might look like. Whether she opts for something archival, custom-made or unexpectedly simple, we'll be watching closely.
