What they’re wearing at Copenhagen Fashion Week SS26

copenhagen fashion week street style

Copenhagen Fashion Week for Spring Summer 2026 has officially landed, and with it, the kind of street style that has turned its cobbled streets into one of the world's most enviable fashion parades. There really isn't anyone dressing for the season quite like the Danes.

As showgoers step out between collections from Scandi staples like OpéraSport, Marimekko, Cecilie Bahnsen, and Baum und Pferdgarten, the message is clear: the Danes didn’t come to play.

This season, street style is leaning into contrast and creativity. Utility meets romance, comfort collides with couture. Think: lightweight cargo pants styled with sheer tanks, floaty sundresses anchored by parachute pants, and structured tailoring softened with pastel palettes. We're seeing lots of stereotypically masculine pieces on women: vests, ties, loafers and bowler bags. But mixed with the feminine: polka dots, lace, bows, belt chains and leopard print.

Soccer jerseys have remained a mainstay, as have the classic denim jorts and plenty of designer handbags – we've spotted Bottega Veneta, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton and of course, lots and lots of Fendi.

Accessories are making bold statements without stealing the show. Metallic hair clips, patterned bandanas, and unexpected pops of colour – like the now-ubiquitous bag charm or cherry red purses – are giving neutral-toned outfits a jolt of personality. Even the footwear feels elevated and intentional: clogs, kitten heels, and – a Scandi favourite – minimalist black Havaianas all taking turns in the spotlight.

And while outerwear might not dominate spring wardrobes, it still earns its place here. Oversized linen blazers, ultralight trenches, and cropped jackets offer just enough coverage for Copenhagen’s breezy summer evenings, proving once again that layering isn’t just a winter sport.
