The internet-comedian-to-SNL-cast-member pipeline just got stronger. Saturday Night Live has announced its season 52 cast, and among them is newcomer Grace Reiter. Of course, she's not a newcomer to the chronically online. Reiter has been making us for several years now, from her Hunger Games parody to a role in the HBO series, The Chair Company. But if you're not already acquainted, don't fret. Everything you need to know about Reiter, below.
She's the first SNL cast member born after 2000
Yep, Reiter was actually born May 18, 2001 – which also makes her a Taurus.

She's been making comedy skits since 2019
Don't call her an overnight success. Reiter has been in the comedy scene since she was a teenager, when she joined TikTok and quickly amassed over a million followers thanks to her specific brand of self-deprecating, sometimes absurd, but always hilarious humour.
She's also on YouTube, where you've probably caught a glimpse of arguably her most famous work – a 43-minute Hunger Games parody, which has over 13 million views. You can watch it here:
If you like what you see here, you're in for a treat, because Reiter has teased a Twilight parody coming some time in 2026.
Her success has taken her off the internet, too
Reiter has already proven herself to be skilled at a range of media.
In 2023, she made her film debut in First Time Female Director, a comedy film directed by Chelsea Peretti. Then in 2024 she launched a podcast, That's Enough with Grace Reiter, and the following year landed a role in Tim Robinson's, The Chair Company.
Fast forward to 2026 and things aren't slowing down for Reiter. In addition to joining the cast of SNL, a web series she co-created and starred in, Minimum Wage, has been picked up by Netflix to be adapted into a television series. The streamer has ordered 28 episodes, each oe running for around 12.5 minutes each.

She's one of two new SNL cast members this year
Reiter scored the coveted spot alongside Saidah Belo-Osagie, a fellow comedian and writer. News of their appointment was met with plenty of congratulations, with existing cast member and fellow internet comedian Veronika Slowikowska among those to share their excitement.
