There's nothing the internet loves to do more than speculate. Especially when it comes to music festival headliners. And with the annual Coachella lineup drop for 2027 on the horizon (well, if you count mid-September as soon – this is when we received news of 2026's lineup), Reddit sleuthers and music lovers alike are already getting the rumour mill spinning.
We have a few of our own guesses to throw into the mix – all evidence-backed, of course. Whether they've been confirmed by mysterious commenters on public forums or simply have a conveniently Coachella-shaped hole in their tour announcements next April – these are all the Coachella 2027 headliner predictions we'd like to claim nice and early.

A Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special? A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? It's been a big 2026 for Miley and we could very well see the year topped out by an announcement that she's headlining Coachella in 2027. The appearance would mark her first time ever performing at the festival – and there are already rumours swirling that she's been offered a potential multi-million dollar deal to headline.

Kevin's just wrapped up the North American leg of his global Deadbeat world tour (we'll be catching him on Australian shores this November...), so it makes perfect sense that he's primed for a Coachella headline slot. Parker has headlined the festival already back in 2019, and played the festival three times prior to 2011 in smaller time slots, so he's a Coachella old hat at this point. We'd love to see him pull off his in-the-round staging in a festival setting (very remeniscent of that last-minute Fred again.. x FourTet x Skrillex triple-bill from Weekend Two in 2023).

Speaking of Fred, we'd love to see him head back to the Indio Valley to headline – with more than a few days' notice this time. He's been on an all-time run recently, having been preoccupied by his 108-hour tour project USB002, as well as releasing his studio album Ten Days. We imagine he'd be bringing out plenty of his recent collaborators – like Mexican trio Latin Mafia, Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter and of course, Ezra Collective. One Reddit user with an inside source says Fred's already been locked in.

The Gallagher brothers reunited for a global tour back in 2025 that saw them sell out 41 shows across 14 countries – Spotify even reported a 320% global increase in Oasis streams immediately following the tour kickoff. While the duo announced they'd be taking "a pause for a period of reflection" when the tour ended last year, Liam Gallagher has confirmed that the band will not be hitting the road again until 2027 at the earliest. The timing feels convenient...

Kung Fu Kenny hasn't headlined Coachella since 2017 (promoting his DAMN. album). He's wrapped up his massive global Grand National Tour supporting his album GNX, concluding the final leg with historic Australian stadium shows in December 2025. And with a Super Bowl Halftime Show and multiple new Grammys under his belt, it feels like it's about time for the return of Kendrick to Coachella.

Another name that's entered the rumour mill is SZA. Her name has been making headlines as a potential headliner for the last few weeks, and while the singer isn't currently on tour, she has been teasing some upcoming projects and a future Lana tour.

It feels crazy to say that the Californian native has never headlined Coachella – despite, it seems, having headlined just about every major festival under the sun (from Glastonbury to Lollapalooza). With a major new album to promote and a penchant for popping up in other artists' sets during the festival (she joined No Doubt for Bathwater in 2024 and Addison Rae earlier this year), this feels like a pretty solid option.
