It’s that time of year again — the CFDA Fashion Awards have returned to New York City, and with them, a wave of high octane glamour. Held annually at the American Museum of Natural History, this year’s ceremony is once again proving that American fashion isn’t just alive — it’s thriving.
Inside the event itself, country’s most influential designers, models, and creatives are gathering under one roof to celebrate the industry’s boldest achievements. And outside, on the red carpet, the energy is electric. Think of it as fashion’s Oscars — but with some of the most stand-out looks we've seen all year.
Among tonight’s honourees, A$AP Rocky will receive the coveted Fashion Icon Award, a nod to his long-standing influence on how men (and everyone else) dress now — blending a streetwear sensibility with high-fashion. Designer Jerry Lorenzo of Fear of God will also be recognised for his innovation, celebrating a label that’s redefined American luxury as we know it.
Of course, the real story of the night unfolds in the outfits. Expect a mix of sculptural silhouettes, soft tailoring, flashes of skin, and the occasional archival statement piece.
From the avant-garde to the effortlessly understated, tonight’s looks are a study in how American designers continue to push forward while honouring the lineage that built them. Below, we’ve rounded up the most memorable looks from the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards.
