How'd you like that? For the longest time, we were certain we lived in a post-BLACKPINK world. Last year, we received news that the girl group that quite literally ran the world would part ways with YG Entertainment in order for its members to pursue solo endeavours. RUSSH is notoriously part of the Blink Battalion. We were saddened to see the K-Pop group disperse, but we can now cast our sights towards a reunion of unparalleled sorts. This isn't clickbait. This is news. Breaking news, to be precise. And it's not just Lisa acting in White Lotus, or Jennie closing out Jacquemus.
YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-Suk has confirmed that the K-Pop group will be reuniting on a world tour, and that new music will follow. The word is out, and the group responsible for Pretty Savage and Let's Kill this Love will be coming back.
What are the dates of the BLACKPINK World Tour in 2025?
So far, the BLACKPINK world tour includes 10 cities: Goyang, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, and Tokyo. The shows kick off on July 5 in Goyang, and you can see the full schedule here:

While some Blinks are disappointed that the tour doesn't include their city, the group have since added five more dates to the schedule. We've also noticed there's a four-month gap between the show in August in London, and the final performance in January in Tokyo. Perhaps they're leaving space to add more cities into the mix..? We can only hope.
What can we expect?
For a vibe check on the upcoming tour, look no further. Over on Instagram, BLACKPINK have shared a teaser video and, let's just say, it's got us excited.

YG Entertainment has also confirmed that the girls will release new music in the lead-up to the world tour in 2025. This will mark BLACKPINK's first album release since Born Pink in 2022. Not much else has been announced, but we'll keep watch for more.
What will the reunion involve?
BLACKPINK dropped their comeback announcement just a few days short of their eighth anniversary on August 8. To celebrate, they will host a special fan sign event titled Our Area With Blink. This event will mark the group’s first public appearance together in almost a year as the four members have been busy with their individual solo projects.
