The Brisbane market scene is hard to beat. And as the air crisps and winter really sets in, is there a better (or more wholesome) way to spend a weekend morning than browsing fresh produce with a hot coffee and a flakey pastry in hand? From riverside icons to suburban favourites, Brisbane's weekend markets bring together makers, growers, and curious wanderers alike. You’ll find vintage fashion, baked goods straight from the oven, handmade homewares, and street food that rivals your favourite restaurant — all with that unmistakable Brisbane warmth.

While not exactly Brisbane, we couldn't leave this Sunshine Coast market off our list. What began in the late 1970s as a humble trio of stalls has grown into over 600 vendors spread across a winding outdoor maze. Expect handcrafted ceramics, natural skincare, original art, woven textiles, tarot readings, and the scent of sizzling gyoza or vegan doughnuts wafting by.

Where: Memorial Drive, Eumundi (Sunshine Coast)
