When winter sets in, it’s hard to find motivation — unless the room’s already heated to 40 degrees.
Hot Pilates has quickly become Sydney’s go-to for a workout that’s equal parts sculpting and sweat therapy. Whether it’s mat or reformer, these classes are high-energy, low-impact, and set in infrared-heated rooms designed to boost circulation, fire up your muscles, and keep the seasonal slump at bay.
If you’re after a burn that feels as good as it looks, these are the Sydney studios delivering the heat.
Peaches Pilates

Location: Rose Bay, Bondi, Maroubra, Surry Hills, Dee Why, Cronulla
There's a good reason Peaches Pilates studios are dotted across the city (and interstate). While not strictly heated, their signature hot pilates class (a personal favourite of mine) is set to energising playlists and infrared warmth, and combines strength and flow in a way that’s both accessible and effective. The studios are airy and chic, and the workout leaves you a little sore (in the best way).

These classes are set to energising playlists and taught in rooms heated to around 32–34°C, which is enough to elevate the intensity without draining you. Expect flowing sequences, and some seriously sore muscles.

Known for their focus on functional movement and form-first pilates, Fluidform has earned a loyal following for good reason. And at their North Bondi studio, they’ve recently introduced heated mat pilates. While most heated Pilates classes tend to be held exclusively on the mat, here they also combine the reformer, for a slower, deeper burn — ideal for building core strength, improving posture, and breaking a satisfying sweat. The space itself is calm and beautifully designed, making it feel more like a wellness retreat than a workout.
