RUSSH loves: Beauty favourites for April 2026

Whether you're packing up for a soon to be Euro summer or settling in for a cosy winter season, April is the perfect month to step into a new ritual or routine, whenever that's a fresh scent, new skincare or makeup update.

Fortunately there's a bunch of new launches this month that fit the bill: matte lipsticks, longevity skincare, creamy fragrance, wash on cleansers… the innovation is plentiful and as a result, our carts are full. RUSSH beauty favourites for April, below.

YSL Beauty Lovenude Lip Blusher

Matte is back but this time around the formulas are soft and cushiony. Take YSL’s new Lovenude lipstick: it has an almost fluffy texture that feels super silky on, while delivering a blurred matte finish. The extensive shade range also means you're sure to find your perfect nude.

Bon Elliot Hydrating Performance Serum

Developed locally in Sydney by a dermatologist, Bon Elliot offers clinical skincare focused on a bioretinoid alternative and probiotic-packed AMBR Complex for smooth, bright, properly moisturised skin. The first launch is the Hydrating Performance Serum: it's packed with antioxidants and humectants to protect and properly rehydrate in one step. Genius.

D.S. & Durga Debaser In Bloom

This new take on the iconic D.S. & Durga scent is softer, sweeter and focused on florals. There's fig, gardenia, cream, coconut and white currant for an almost whipped finish that's delicious on the skin.

Emma Lewisham Supernatural Creme Cleanser

True to the Emma Lewisham brand ethos, this cleanser rethinks the skincare step in a revolutionary way. Designed to be left on the skin for a minute or so (not just immediately rinsed away) it delivers barrier-boosting ingredients to cultivate skin that's calmer and healthier-looking.

Diptyque Feu De Bois Refill

Diptyque has just launched refillable candles and we’re thrilled about it. Feu De Bois smells warm and smoky, like the inside of a jazz bar or the last licks of a hearth fire place. It's cosy but clean.

Allies of Skin Azelaic & Kojic Acid Advanced Clarifying Serum

This serum is a silver bullet for skin that's full, discoloured or uneven in tone. It acts as a melanin inhibitor for improved clarity, while reducing the look of redness and irritation.

Lancôme Absolue Longevity MD Anticipate Cream

Interestingly, this moisturiser was created alongside the supplement brand Timeline, using the signature ingredient Mitopure. It's essentially a concentrated form of Urolithin-A to support collagen production and skin longevity. The formula is ace for preventing the drooping and creasing associated with ageing.

Goop Beauty Youth-Boost NAD+ Peptide Rich Cream

In a similar vein to the above, this moisturiser nicotinomide mononucleotide, a precursor to NAD to also improve skin function to its optimal level. Expect visible improvements in brightness, texture, bounce and tone.

Bioderma AR+ CC Cream

Whether you have super sensitive skin prone to redness or just want an easy all in one base product, this new CC Cream from French brand Bioderma is designed to neutralise discolouration while repairing a compromised barrier (it's full of lipids). It also has an SPF of 50+.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios UV Mune

This innovative sunscreen feels exactly like the Anthelios everyone knows and loves (light and milky) but with a new sun filter, Mexoryl 400. The filter is the first of its kind, and blocks more UVA and UVB that previous formulas, reducing the incidence of cumulative sun damage.

Rabanne Million Gold For Her EDP

In need of a new signature scent? Look no further. This Eau de Parfum is Rabanne's first-ever floral creation, and it's got a cult following for a reason. With notes of white florals, sparkling rose and mineral musk, this fragrance is addictively wearable.
