Adèle Farine on staying true to yourself

She’s the French-born model we met for our Make History issue, all honey-coloured hair and flower field dreams. Here, model Adèle Farine opens up about her favourite products and the best beauty tricks for when the dance floor beckons.

My morning beauty routine is ...
In the morning I always start by putting blueberry water on my face because it decongests and wakes up! I do not put on a lot of makeup in fact ... I put the Touche Éclat highlighter from YSL under my eyes to hide my dark circles and my redness and Volume de Chanel mascara because it makes the eyelashes black and voluminous yet still looks very natural. After, I put the M.A.C Cosmetics Taupe Matte, it highlights the natural colour of my lips. At last I put on blush from Dior on my cheeks, that’s all!

My night beauty routine is …
I have exactly the same routine in the evening, except that I put the Cocogloss from Chanel when I want to go out dancing, I also use it on my eyelids to get that glossy style that I really like.

My favourite products for body are …
The best cream is Carita cashmere cream for the body and La Mer for the face, and Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour cream to moisturise my lips.

The best beauty secret I’ve learned backstage is ...
If you are really tired and it shows under your eyes, apply Arnica on your dark circles and let it work for fifteen minutes, they will magically disappear

Product I can’t live without is …
My lipstick Taupe Matte from M.A.C Cosmetics, I have used it every day for five years.

The best advice on beauty I’ve received is …
Do not try to transform your face. Find your best qualities and emphasise them. And above all, stay natural - less is more.
