What they're wearing on the 2026 Met Gala red carpet

Ask anyone who cares about fashion and they'll tell you few days are more important than the Met Gala. For those attending, it's the result of months of hard work, which culminates in just a few minutes as they make their way up the Met steps in their chosen interpretation of the year's theme (in 2026, it's 'Fashion is Art'). And for those watching at home, it's a sartorial feast, as we bear witness to our favourite creatives and some of the most theatrical fashion of the year (and in some cases, of all time).

All that is to say, the day has finally arrived. From around 8am in Australia we'll be switching our devices to 'Do Not Disturb', and placing our sole attention on those lucky enough to score a spot on the infamously tight guest list as they step out of their sprinter vans and onto the red carpet.

Here in the RUSSH office, the anticipation is palpable as we await the first arrivals. How will Beyoncé commemorate her first Met Gala appearance in a decade (and as co-chair, no less)?
