The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards are officially underway, and after months of speculation, television’s biggest names are making their way down the red carpet, en route to finally find out who will take home the night’s top awards.

This year’s nominations race has been particularly crowded, with The Pitt rising above the rest with 25 nominations and Hacks close behind with 24. There’s plenty at stake across the major categories, too. The Pitt is looking to defend its Outstanding Drama Series win, while Pluribus has emerged as a formidable new contender in the same category. In comedy, Hacks is in the running – the series' last chance since it wrapped this year – alongside The Bear, Only Murders in the Building and Abbott Elementary. Newcomer Widow’s Bay has also made a particularly strong case across both the comedy and acting categories.

There are also a few individuals vying for some monumental titles. Jean Smart could make Emmy history with a fifth consecutive win for Hacks, Harrison Ford is in contention for his first acting Emmy (yes, really) for Shrinking, and Zendaya is back in the running for the last season of Euphoria.

Now, the waiting is over. Keep reading for the full list of winners from the 2026 Emmy Awards, updated live throughout the ceremony.
