Daisy chain days with model Kath Ebbs

She’s a girl who knows comparison is the killer of joy, and the most beautiful people are those you love. Here, model and actor Kath Ebbs shares her DIY beauty routine and memories scented of Marc Jacobs Daisy Love.

My top five favourite beauty products are ...
Marc Jacobs Daisy Love EDT
Aesop’s Redemption Body scrub
Napoleon Perdis Ultimate Contour palette
Napoleon Perdis Mesmer-eyes mascara in waterproof
Marc Jacobs Beauty New Nude lipstick in Rosy Nude

My travel beauty routine consists of ...
Sleep, nourishing food, coconut oil, warm water and meditation. Beauty begins on the inside - give your body what it needs and it will radiate out of you. This includes your mind and soul. Feel beauty and you will be beautiful.

The best beauty secret I’ve learned from a friend is ...
If you wouldn’t eat it, it usually doesn’t belong on your skin.

When it comes to beauty I always ...
Make sure I’m reminding myself of my own unique beauty. Comparison is the killer of joy and self-love. I always take 'me time' in my day to ensure I am nourishing my own soul. If I learn that beauty is not a one-size-fits-all I can then understand to appreciate and love my own.

My beauty icon is ...
Anyone who loves and accepts themselves for their own true self - not the self they feel as though they should become. I look up to people that respect themselves and their bodies. If you treat yourself as a beauty icon you will become one, in my opinion.

My favourite beauty ritual to do with friends is ...
Make one of my DIY face marks from my blog and pamper ourselves. Face marks, good food and good conversation! Done deal.

The best advice on beauty I’ve received from my mother/ sister/ friend is ...
Watching my sisters that I adore so much thinking they are not beautiful has been the best unintentional advice ever. I see them as such icons in the face of what beauty is, and to see them try and change that because society's version of that doesn’t match makes me realise that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder and that we have the power - without makeup, face scrubs, pills and modifications - to make ourselves as beautiful as we want. The people that really love and care about us already know our beauty. Anyone that makes us feel less than ourselves isn’t worth having in our life anyway.

To me living life to the fullest looks like ...
Finding out who I am at the core of it, without the influence of others, society's expectations and social norms. Once you know who you are you can grow with your flaws and nourish your gifts. Living free in the mind and surrounding yourself with people that nurture the true you and love you unconditionally for that!

The product I can’t live without is ...
Coconut oil. For my skin, for the kitchen, for my hair and, of course, making raw chocolate!
