Beauty / IN THE BAG

Lina Hoss’s 60s beauty inspiration

She’s got a face that captures in an instant. Piercing eyes, enviable structure and the ability pull off the coolest of crops. For issue 76 she was the lead in our Mexican love story. Here, she lets us in on her beauty secrets and all she learnt from Twiggy.

My top five beauty products are …
Embryolisse Creme Lait-Crème Concentré Nourishing moisturiser
Biotherm Creme Solair Anti Age LSF 30
Avène Thermalwasser spray
Artdeco Concealer Perfect stick
Vaseline Chesebrough Original

My travel beauty routine consists of …
A lot of refreshing with Avène Thermal water spray and creaming with Embryolisse Creme. Before and after the flight I love to use ice cubes, to refresh my face. And I drink a lot of water to not dehydrate, because dehydration often exaggerates jetlag and you may get a very dry chapped skin, increased wrinkles, dry eyes, dry mouth and headache. I also always put on sun protection.

The best beauty secret I’ve learnt backstage is …
To always first clean and refresh my skin before putting on any products, after cleaning a lot of make-up artist use the Lait-Crème Concentré nourishing moisturiser by Embryolisse. It’s my favourite product.

When it comes to beauty …
I always think about a young, strong and confident woman.

My beauty icon is …
Twiggy. She inspired me to cut my hair short when I was 16.

My biggest beauty indulgence is …
Using ice cubes to refresh my face.

The best advice on beauty I’ve received is …
That beauty comes from inside, and it reflects in your eyes. Other than that, the most valuable tip I’ve learned is to always wear sun protection ever day.

The best advice on health I’ve received is …
Always try to sleep at least around 6-8 hours, it is very important for your physical and mental health – and to drink a lot of water.

The product I can’t live without is …
Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré nourishing moisturiser.
