Beyond the smoothie

There are many things you can do to increase your intake of supplements and create some variety in addition to your usual smoothie.

I love to mix Body Brilliance or Protein Excellence into a bowl of porridge in the morning. Or simply mix a scoop into some Greek yoghurt or coconut yoghurt.

Berry energy balls

Ingredients

10g Bodyism Berry Burn Supplement
30g dates
20g almonds
10g hemp seeds
10g chia seeds
30g pumpkin puree
30g desiccated coconut
20g cashew butter (or any nut butter you like)
Desiccated coconut for sprinkling
Freeze-dried berry powder (optional) for sprinkling

Method

Soak the dates in water for about an hour (until soft).
Place all the ingredients in a blender and whizz.
Roll the mixture into balls.
Mix some desiccated coconut in some freeze dried berry powder and then roll the balls in desiccated coconut and place in the freezer.
